Creating timesheet categories
From the dashboard, click Administration on the side menu on the left.
Then click MyTime.
Then click Categories.
To add a new timesheet category, click the green Add new button.
Here you can enter the details of your timesheet category.
Please not that all yellow fields are compulsory, and must be completed.
Description - The name entered here is used to refer to this category.
Position in list - This may be left empty, however enter a whole number here if you wish items to be sorted in numerical order.
Entry style - Here you can edit the way in which users enter their timesheets.
Round to nearest interval - Here you can change the minute interval that your category rounds to.
In the Validation section you can choose whether a description is required or not, and whether a reference is Available, even if it is required or not.
In the Coding and Interface section, you can choose if you want to add split coding to this category or not, and all yellow fields about different types of coding must be completed in order to save the category.
To save this category, click the green Save button in the top right of the menu.
